Group Rentals

Host Your Next Adventure at Emerald Bay

Interested in booking a group adventure weekend at Emerald Bay? You don’t have to be a member of Scouts BSA to enjoy the many experiences Emerald Bay has to offer!

We can provide weekend programming opportunities for all types of youth organizations, including YMCA groups, church retreats, school groups and club functions. We cater exclusively to large youth groups (sorry no individual camping reservations).

To qualify for a weekend booking, we ask that groups meet the following requirements:

  • Groups need to have a 100-person minimum
  • Groups must be comprised of 50% youth participants
  • Groups must be able to provide additional liability insurance (COI)

What do our all-inclusive weekends include?

Our all-inclusive weekend pricing includes transportation to-and-from Long Beach, meal service, programming, and our standard lodging accommodations. Groups can check-in as early as 1:00PM on Friday with a Sunday morning departure no later than 11:00AM. (Departure times vary on boat charter availability).

We do not normally provide lifeguards for groups but can have staff made available to help with equipment in all areas. Activities are typically run “open house” style with scheduled hours Friday afternoon, Saturday morning and Saturday afternoon. During these open hours, participants are able to freely come-and-go between all areas.

Available weekend programming includes:

  • Hiking,
  • Aquarium tours
  • Snorkeling
  • Paddle boarding
  • Kayaking
  • Archery and/or BB guns
  • Campfire ring / Amphitheater
  • Ship’s Store

In order for groups to have exclusive use of the camp, they need to have at least 250 booked participants. If your group is smaller and okay sharing your weekend with another group, we can try to pair you with a similar style group. To meet our transportation requirements, we generally ask for a minimum of 100 participants.

What kind of meal service is included?

Our standard all-inclusive per-person pricing includes Friday dinner to Sunday breakfast (5 meals total). Our standard menu varies depending on availability with our food vendors, though groups can also opt for upgraded meals at an additional per person (per meal) cost. Keep in mind each meal must be upgraded as an entire group, not by individual. Click on the link below for a PDF of the meals upgrades we can offer!

What kind of lodging is available during my stay?

The base cost of camp includes access to 2-person tents in our campsites, along with lodging in our 8-person cabins (when available). Both the cabins and campsite have access to single-stalled bathroom/shower facilities nearby. We also have housing upgrades available at additional cost.
