Dining Hall

Our large dining hall and kitchen produce high quality buffet meals. Meals are eaten outside on the covered patio overlooking the bay or on the shaded pavilion.

Pennington Marine Science Center

Our aquarium is run by our resident marine biologist. We proudly exhibit and care for many of the native marine animals that can be found in and near the waters of Emerald bay. Some of these animals can be found in our touch tanks. Our staff also participate in ongoing research and restoration projects. We are currently a host of an ROV (remote operated vehicle) for the Marine Protected Area Collaborative Network, this allows researchers to learn more about species while being less disruptive than a traditional SCUBA diver.

Chapel

A short hike up from the cabins is our “chapel”. This area features breathtaking views overlooking Doctor’s Cove to the mainland, benches, and a podium. This is the perfect place to pause and reflect on all that has been learned during your stay.

Campfire Circle

Our amphitheater makes the perfect spot for campfires and group gatherings. With stadium style seating to fit 500 and campfire rings you are sure to make memories here!

Waterfront

We have two waterfronts, there is Emerald Bay where we do the majority of our boating activities and Doctor’s Cove where we do our snorkeling activities. Both offer incredible views and are part of the Arrow Point to Lion Head Marine Protected Area.

Ship Store

Our Ship Store is open daily for about 30 minutes where campers can purchase souvenirs and snacks.

Restrooms and Showers

We have two different styles of restroom/shoer facilities depending on where you are in camp. The restrooms near the cabins are like a public restroom with stalls and common sink area. The shower buildings for cabins have a locking door with a small changing area in front of the shower. Near the tents the restrooms and showers are all single stall with locking door.
